After having already taken cruises to the Adriatic, Alaska, theBaltic, the Meditterannean and the Nile River cruise on other cruiselines, Mary and I have to say this was THE BEST cruiseever... From this port on the Pacific coast, it is possible to reach the heights of the Andes in a single day. An excursion travels to Lake Chungara at an altitude of 14, 765 feet. Closer to the port, huge geoglyphs line the walls of the Azapa Valley.
